Meet the 2023-2024 Amate House Fellows

This year’s fellow cohort comes to us from 4 different states, 1 commonwealth and 4 different universities. They join a network of over 900 Amate House alumni who have, for 40 years, answered the call to lead and serve here in Chicago.

McKinley Park House

John (Jack) Andreana

Coordinator of Athletics and Graduate Support

Jack is from New Rochelle, NY and is a graduate of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA, where he studied accounting and applied psychology. He is passionate about the social justice issue of Immigration. Jack is serving at San Miguel School.

Caroline Dahl

Amate Case Manager

Caroline is from Georgetown, KY and is a graduate of Centre College in Danville KY. where she studied anthropology & sociology. She is passionate about the social justice issue of health equity. Caroline is serving at The Marjorie Kovler Center.

Caroline Kazmareck

Prevention Educator

Caroline is from Bartlet, IL and is a graduate of Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN where she studied science pre-professional. She is passionate about the social justice issue of queer rights. Caroline is serving at Sarah's Inn.

Kevin O'Gorman

Racial Justice Program Assistant

Kevin is from Bourbonnais, IL and is a graduate of the University of Dayton in Dayton, OH where he studied history & theology. He is passionate about the social justice issue of gun violence. Kevin is serving at the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Inés Philippi

Youth Engagement Specialist

Inés is from San Juan, Puerto Rico and is a graduate of Boston college in Chestnut Hill, MA where she studied international studies. She is passionate about the social justice issue of women's rights. Ines is serving at Catholic Charities.

Kaitlin (Katie) Reiners

Behavioral Health Fellow

Katie is from Glen, NH and is a graduate of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA where she studied biology. She is passionate about the social justice issue of health equity. Katie is serving at the Chicago Family Health Centers.
